Why prices vary so much

Several things drive the gap between the cheapest and most expensive listings:

How to compare vendors beyond price

Before price, check that a vendor can show what is actually in the vial:

  1. A Certificate of Analysis for the batch you receive, not a generic or years-old report.
  2. Both purity and identity. HPLC shows purity. Mass spectrometry confirms the compound is what the label says.
  3. A way to verify the report with the lab that issued it, so you are not relying on a PDF the vendor could edit.
  4. A match between the COA and your vial: same compound, same strength and same batch number.

Our guide How to Read a Peptide COA walks through each section of a report and the red flags of a forged or reused one.

Frequently asked questions

How much does BPC-157 cost in the U.S.?

In October 2026, a 10 mg research vial of BPC-157 had a median listed price of $51.50 across 9 U.S. vendors, ranging from $29.32 to $88.00.

Is a cheaper research peptide worse?

Not necessarily, but price can’t tell you. The only way to know what is in a vial is a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis showing purity (HPLC) and identity (mass spectrometry), ideally verifiable with the testing lab.

How often is this report updated?

Monthly. Each edition replaces the table on this page, and the date at the top shows when the prices were collected.

Are these products for human use?

No. Research peptides are sold for laboratory research use only. They are not for human or veterinary use, and nothing in this report is medical advice.
