Peptide Sciences shut down on March 6, 2026. The site now shows only a short closure notice, with no catalog, no order history and no research library. If you relied on them for research compounds, you are probably comparing new suppliers right now. This page covers what to check before you switch, and how Rogue Compounds measures up on each point.

Rogue Compounds is not affiliated with Peptide Sciences. All products are sold for laboratory research use only.

What happened to Peptide Sciences?

On March 6, 2026, Peptide Sciences posted a notice saying it had decided to voluntarily shut down operations and stop selling research products. The company did not give a specific reason, and as of this writing it has not announced a return. Industry coverage pointed to regulatory pressure on the research peptide market and growing scrutiny of vendor testing.

What to check in a replacement supplier

The closure left a lot of researchers buying from vendors they know little about. These six checks separate a documented supplier from a storefront with a stock photo of a lab report.

1. A certificate of analysis for the batch you receive

A COA should name the compound, carry a batch or lot number, and match the vial in your hand. A single report reused across every batch, or one with no batch number at all, tells you nothing about the material you bought.

2. Identity and purity, not purity alone

Purity tells you how much of the sample is one compound. Identity confirms that compound is the one on the label. A high purity number on the wrong compound is still the wrong compound, so look for both results on the report.

3. An accredited, independent lab

Look for testing from an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory with no ownership tie to the seller. In-house “lab results” are marketing, not verification.

4. A report you can verify with the testing company

This is the most important check. Forged and reused COAs are common in this market: a real report from one batch gets copied across many, or a lab’s logo gets pasted onto a document the lab never issued. A PDF on a vendor’s website proves nothing by itself.

Confirm the report with the testing company directly. The best setups put a QR code or report ID on the vial that opens the result on the lab’s own website, where the seller cannot change it. Then check that the batch number, compound and date on the lab’s site match the vial in front of you. If a vendor can’t give you a way to verify a report with the lab, treat the report as unverified.

5. Clear research-use-only labeling

A legitimate research supplier labels and sells its products for laboratory use only and does not publish dosing advice. Vendors that blur that line tend to be the ones that disappear.

6. Domestic fulfillment and real support

US shipping with tracking, a published phone number and posted support hours matter when an order goes wrong.

How Rogue Compounds checks out

Check Rogue Compounds
Batch-specific COA Every published report carries a batch number. 44 of 50 products have a current COA in our COA Library, and past batches stay on file.
Purity, quantity and identity Every report confirms HPLC purity and the quantity in the vial. Identity is confirmed on our newer reports, and new batches are tested on an expanded panel of eight or more tests.
Accredited, independent lab Yes. Testing is done by independent ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories in the United States.
Verify it yourself Yes. The QR code on each vial opens that batch’s report directly on the testing lab’s website, not ours.
Research-use-only Yes. Every product is labeled and sold for laboratory research only. We do not publish dosing guidance.
Domestic fulfillment and support 2-day UPS shipping from the USA, free over $250. Support Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM MST, at 1 (888) 764-8308 or support@roguecompounds.com.

Reports on our current batches cover purity and quantity, with identity confirmed on our newer reports. New batches are tested on an expanded panel of eight or more tests. Each new report goes on the product page and in the COA Library, and every vial carries its batch number and a QR code that opens the report on the testing company’s own website. Whoever you buy from, check exactly which tests a report includes before you rely on it.

Frequently asked questions

Is Peptide Sciences coming back?

As of this writing, the company has not announced a return. Its website shows only the closure notice from March 6, 2026.

Is Rogue Compounds connected to Peptide Sciences?

No. Rogue Compounds is an independent US supplier founded in 2025 with no connection to Peptide Sciences.

How do I check a Rogue Compounds COA?

There are three ways, and they should all match:

  1. Product page: every product page shows the COA for the batch currently shipping.
  2. COA Library: our COA Library lists the current report for every tested product, with past batches kept on file.
  3. Your vial: the label carries the batch number and a QR code that opens the report directly on the testing company’s official website, where we can’t edit it.

Check that the batch number on your vial matches the report on the lab’s site.

Where do orders ship from?

All orders ship from the United States by 2-day UPS, free on orders over $250.
