2026 has been the biggest year of research peptide vendor closures so far. Some long-running names shut down voluntarily, some lost their payment processors and some simply went dark. This page tracks the closures we can confirm from public statements and reporting, explains what is and isn’t known about each, and lists what to check before choosing a new supplier. It is updated as new closures are confirmed.

All compounds discussed are sold for laboratory research use only and are not for human or veterinary use. This page summarizes publicly reported business closures and is not legal or medical advice.

Closed and closing vendors (2026)

Vendor Status When What’s known
Soma Chems Closed Announced Oct 14, 2026; no longer taking orders as of Oct 17, 2026 Its website now says it is no longer accepting new orders. Existing customers can still manage orders and contact support there. No reason was given. Soma Chems was Amino Asylum relaunched; the same business now runs Amino Tech.
Chameleon Peptides Closed Closed to new customers Sep 27, 2026; farewell email Oct 1, 2026 Its website now says it is closed for new purchases (checked Oct 17, 2026). Existing customers can still sign in to view orders and lab reports. The notice gives no reason. Secondhand reports link it to payment-processor scrutiny, which is unconfirmed.
Eternal Peptides Closed Shut down Sep 15, 2026; support ended Sep 30, 2026 Its website now shows only a thank-you page with a lab-test link and a support email (checked Oct 19, 2026). Its closing notice, as reported by several sites, described the shutdown as voluntary. No reason was given, and no successor has been named.
Chemyo Closed Sep 8, 2026 Announced a permanent closure without a stated reason. Said no other site may represent it or take payment for it. Catalog was mostly SARMs and related research chemicals.
Amino Asylum Storefront gone Offline since mid-2025 No company statement. The business relaunched as Soma Chems, which closed in October 2026, and now operates as Amino Tech. The old domain redirected to Soma Chems by late September 2026.
Strate Labs Closed Closure notice posted Jul 1, 2026 Its website still shows a permanent-closure notice (checked Oct 19, 2026), saying changes in the regulatory landscape made it impossible to keep operating. An Oct 19, 2026 paid press release claims the brand reopened on a different domain. That claim is unconfirmed, and nothing public ties the new domain to the original company.
PureRawz Stopped selling Seen Oct 10, 2026 No longer sells products. The site now refers buyers to other vendors. No reason or date was given.
Peptide Sciences Closed Early 2026 (date not stated by the company) Called its closure voluntary and gave no reason. Said any successor or affiliate claim is unauthorized.
Science.bio Closed Early 2026 (date not stated by the company) Announced a permanent closure without a reason and warned against successor claims.

We only list a closure when there is a public company statement or consistent reporting from more than one source. We do not include vendors that are merely out of stock, temporarily offline or the subject of unconfirmed rumors.

Watch for “successor” scams. When a vendor closes, copycat sites often appear claiming to be the “new home” of the old brand, a sister company or an official replacement, and ask former customers to pay up front for orders they never ship. Peptide Sciences, Science.bio and Chemyo all published statements that no other site represents them. In October 2026, a paid press release claimed Strate Labs had reopened on a different domain, while the original Strate Labs site still shows its closure notice. Unless the original company announces a successor on its own website or email list, treat any such claim as unverified.

Why so many vendors are closing

A few pressures show up again and again in public reporting this year: card networks and banks tightening rules for research-chemical merchants, more regulatory attention on the category and buyers demanding real third-party testing. Vendors without stable payment processing or verifiable testing have had the hardest time staying open.

How to choose a new supplier

Price is the easiest thing to compare and the least useful on its own. Before ordering from anyone new, check for:

  1. A batch-specific Certificate of Analysis for the exact product and batch you would receive, not a generic or old report.
  2. Purity and identity on the same report. HPLC shows purity. Mass spectrometry confirms the compound is what the label says.
  3. A way to verify the report with the lab that issued it, such as a lab-hosted link or a QR code, so you are not relying on a PDF anyone could edit.
  4. A real, reachable business: working support email and phone, clear shipping and refund policies, and a U.S. shipping origin if speed matters to you.
  5. Buyer protection. Be cautious with any new vendor that only accepts payment methods you can’t dispute, like wire transfers or gift cards.

How Rogue Compounds handles verification

Every Rogue batch is tested by an independent, ISO 17025 accredited U.S. laboratory for purity and identity. Each product page shows the COA for the batch currently shipping, every passing batch is public in our COA Library, and each vial label has a batch number and QR code that opens that batch’s report on the testing lab’s own website. Rogue Compounds is not affiliated with, and is not a successor to, any vendor listed on this page.

Frequently asked questions

Did Soma Chems close?

Yes. A closing announcement was published on October 14, 2026, and as of October 17, 2026 the Soma Chems website says it is no longer accepting new orders. No reason was given.

Why did Chameleon Peptides shut down?

Its closure notice didn’t give a reason. Some reports link it to payment-processor scrutiny of research-chemical sales, but that hasn’t been confirmed by the company.

Is a site claiming to be the “new” version of a closed vendor legitimate?

Assume not, unless the original company announces it on its own channels. Several closed vendors have publicly said no other site represents them.

Are research peptides for human use?

No. They are sold for laboratory research use only and are not for human or veterinary use.
