GLP-3 RT
GLP-3 RT is a lyophilized research peptide in the Rogue Compounds GLP Collection, offered in 10mg, 20mg and 30mg vials. It belongs to the newest class of incretin-receptor research peptides: multi-receptor agonists designed to act at three related receptors at once, the GLP-1 receptor, the GIP receptor and the glucagon receptor.

The receptor biology
All three targets are class B G protein-coupled receptors that respond to peptide hormones and signal mainly through Gs and cAMP:
- GLP-1 receptor: activated by glucagon-like peptide-1, an incretin hormone released from intestinal L-cells. It is expressed in pancreatic islets, the brain, heart, gut and other tissues, and is one of the most studied receptors in metabolic research.
- GIP receptor: activated by glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide, the other major incretin, released from intestinal K-cells. Its role in fat tissue and the brain is an active area of study.
- Glucagon receptor: activated by glucagon from pancreatic alpha cells and expressed mainly in the liver, where it is central to studies of hepatic glucose and lipid metabolism and energy expenditure.
What researchers study
Single-receptor agonists came first, followed by dual GLP-1/GIP agonists. Triple-receptor peptides let laboratories ask how combined signaling at all three receptors compares with activating one or two: receptor selectivity and potency, cAMP and downstream signaling in cell systems, and how the balance between the three pathways shapes metabolic readouts in preclinical models. GLP-3 RT is supplied for that kind of in-vitro and analytical work.
Regulatory status
GLP-3 RT is not an FDA-approved drug and is not sold for human or veterinary use. It is a research reagent only.
Quality & Documentation
Every batch of GLP-3 RT is made in small runs for Rogue Compounds and tested by an independent U.S. laboratory for identity (mass spectrometry) and purity (HPLC). Each vial is labeled with its batch number and a QR code that opens the testing lab’s own report for that batch. The same batch Certificate of Analysis is posted on this page and in our COA Library, so you can check one against the other.
